Who are our clients? Well, they’re people who are looking for someone who’ll listen to them and solve their renovation problems in a way that makes sense functionally, stylistically, and financially. Someone they can trust and enjoy working with.
They want a kitchen that fits their lifestyles and their goals for the future – whether that’s the next two years or twenty-two years. They want a kitchen they’ll love, a kitchen where they’ll create meals and memories that nourish their bodies and spirits. And, if they renovated to sell, a kitchen they’ll still be sorry to say goodbye to when they move.
They believe in giving, in sharing, in helping. They believe in the power of community. They support their community, and those businesses, manufacturers, and organizations that are their neighbors.
Yes, our clients are happy with the kitchens we design for them, but they’re also happy with us. They like to have us in their homes.

The “Art-isan” in “KitchensByArt”
Owner Arthur Orchowski loves the details which can make a kitchen special. He likes to think he followed in the footsteps of his grandfather, who spent fifty years as a fine detail carpenter and furniture builder. Maybe so. But, more importantly, Art enjoys people. He loves working with them on their projects and watching them delight in the transformation of their kitchens.
He understands and has worked in all phases of contracting, from the ground up, but kitchens are his specialty. Whether it’s a personalized kitchen design plan, cabinetry all around your home, or custom cabinet refacing, his goal is to provide you with a home you’ll love for years to come.

When it comes to kitchen design, Deb Orchowski believes:
- lifting a 22 lb turkey out of the oven shouldn’t give you a hernia or bruises;
- no potato masher needs a GPS tracker in order to be found;
- whipping up a veggie smoothie should be a lot easier than mixing a martini.
She also believes kitchens are important tools for better health & well-being. A former health and wellness professional with a background in ergonomics, she’s uniquely positioned to help you create a kitchen designed for positive health behaviors. Add in efficient, organized, and accessible design, and you’ll have a room you can enjoy and comfortably use as your life evolves over time.
