Custom cabinet refacing gives homeowners an elegant kitchen for their dream home.

Who:  A pharmaceutical executive and her husband recently moved to their dream home. She was due to retire in six months and was looking forward to enjoying her new space and leisure time.

Where:  New Hope, PA

The Challenge: The cabinetry was custom, from a local artisan, and about 20 years old. The counters were new. The new owners wanted a more formal look to their kitchen, but didn’t want the additional expense of gutting the kitchen and replacing the counters.

The Solution: Solid wood doors and side panels, in an off-white paint and glaze finish, transformed the main cabinets.  The island was elevated with stained and glazed cherry doors, panels, and posts.  The microwave was relocated to a space next to the refrigerator and a custom hood was put in its place.  The detailed millwork, valance. and other components all add upscale touches to the space.
